Appearing onBBC Breakfaston Saturday (9 May), Powell stuck by the prime minister, saying that while the party has to “reflect, to hear, to listen,” it also has to “get behind Keir as the leader and go forward as one team”.
A few hours after Powell made the comments, Starmerbrought former prime minister Gordon Brownback into government to serve as a special envoy on global finance.
