Sincestarring in the beloved 1998 remake, the two actresses have fostered a decades-long friendship that, according to Walter, has always come naturally.
"People always talk about, 'Oh, you make time for your friends, and you have to make it important,' " she told PEOPLE in September 2023. "It was never a chore. It was never something that I had to schedule."
